Service Advisor

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions
  • Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labour; calculating customer's payment, including deductibles
  • Prepare repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required; obtaining approval signatures; entering RO into service database system
  • Maintain customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle; obtaining customer's approval of estimates; obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers; answering questions and concerns; arranging towing and temporary transportation
  • Maintain accurate records by recording problems and corrective actions planned
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading manufacturers' publications
  • Other duties as assigned


    What You Bring to the Table:

    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Minimum 1 - 2 years in a customer service role
    • Previous Service Advisor experience is an asset
    • Valid G Drivers License

    Parts Manager

    What You Will Be Doing:  


    • Help ensure the efficiency and productivity of the Parts department and develop an action plan for profitability
    • Inventory management, including obsolete inventory.  
    • Ordering parts with company and OEM guidelines.  
    • Knowledge of parts pricing procedure.  
    • Understands and maintains warranty platforms.  
    • Establish & maintain good relationships with wholesale customers  
    • Responsible for profit management - must examine department financial statements, including expenses and revenue, to ensure the department's profitability 
    • Managing day to day operations of the Parts department 
    • Managing deliveries and returns  
    • Keeping an organized department 
    • Works with service manager & technicians to maintain an effective work flow

    310s Automotive Apprentice

    Hours: Monday - Friday |8-5pm | Occasional Saturdays  

     

    We are seeking a mechanic apprentice who is willing to roll up their sleeves and learn. You'll be working alongside several other experienced mechanics in the trade. You'll be trusted to work independently by performing basic repairs. To achieve being a successful mechanic apprentice, you should have strong attentiveness, understanding of mechanics and great customer service skills.

    What You Will Be Doing:

    • Perform services based on general maintenance and minor repairs. 
    • Perform the tasks described in the repair orders efficiently and accurately. 
    • Contact the shop foreman and/or service advisors if additional work is required. 
    • Use appropriate tools, test equipment, and report defective or poorly functioning equipment to the supervisor
    • Ensure that the shop is clean and tidy
    • Perform other tasks, based on management requirements and instructions 


    What You Bring to the Table:

    • High school education or equivalent 
    • Working towards your 310S certification 
    • Strong communication skills 
    • Above average technical skills 
    • Valid G Driver's License and acceptable driving record

    Service Manager

    The Service Manager is responsible for the day to day operations of our Automotive Service department. They hire, train, and motivate employees to meet and exceed business and customer expectations. 

     

    What You Will Be Doing:   

    • Experienced in providing exceptional customer service  
    • Develop and maintain a culture that values excellent customer service through effective training, supervision, coaching and talent management  
    • Review and implement Service Centre policies and procedures that improve the customer experience through high quality service and rapport building
    • Develop and implement a long-term strategy and action plan to attract and retain customers 
    • Coach team members to provide excellent customer service   
    • Recruit, develop, motivate, recognize and hold accountable an Auto Service team that will meet established objectives and targets for sales and profitability   
    • Improve sales and profitability for the Service Centre  
    • Effectively resolve customer and employee complaints and concerns
    • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and all other workplace regulations and policies   
    • Monitor the operating budget by tracking sales and expenses  
    • Promotes service safety and security procedures
    • Other duties as required by management  

     

    What You Bring to the Table: 

    • 12 Grade Diploma or GED    
    • Minimum 5 years' experience in the automotive service industry   
    • Minimum of 3 years of management experience in the automotive industry    
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills   
    • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines  
    • Strong computer & leadership skills   
    • Automotive Technician's License is an asset 
    • Good communication skills and attention to detail 
    • Must have the ability to multi-task and work under pressure

    IT Network Administrator

    Role and Responsibilities: 

    • Support translating information technology roadmaps into infrastructure technologies and services covering cloud computing, IaaS, PaaS, data centre operations, servers, storage, messaging, file and print technology, telecommunication, networking, voice, video, disaster recovery and other components as required
    • Develop and maintain current and future state of IT infrastructure and operational models while reviewing and analyzing the ability of the current IT state to meet and exceed departmental goals and objectives
    • Develop and maintain cloud and infrastructure development standards and procedures
    • Maintain and administer on-premise and cloud environments including but not limited to availability, performance, service level, usage/billing reconciliation, infrastructure service automation, virtualization, disaster recovery, available infrastructure platform, physical and virtual data centres
    • Install, configure, migrate, maintain, test and troubleshoot enterprise-grade networks, server systems and cloud environments
    • Design and implement IT policies and procedures
    • Complete onboarding, offboarding and user change processes for all employee user access, email and phone extensions
    • Interface and communicate proactively with users, management and other business stakeholders
    • Provide firsthand end user support for hardware and software problems with timely troubleshooting for any issues
    • Provide end user training where required
    • Support users with their use of corporate applications.
    • Perform daily system monitoring, including verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes
    • Review system and application logs, and verify the completion of scheduled jobs
    • Perform server backup and recovery operations as required

     

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience: 

    • A post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Systems or Information Technology
    • 3 years+ hands on experience and advanced knowledge of networking, subnetting, IP Addressing, Switches, VPN, VLANS, Firewalls, and site-to-site tunneling
    • Experience with building and managing Active Directory and Azure AD.
    • Experience with SD-WAN or similar networking framework.
    • Experience with Fortinet / Cisco or similar network management platforms.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Capacity to handle high pressure situations, tight and competing deadlines
    • On call availability for off hours support
    • Willingness to travel to various locations as required
    • Lifting (11-60 lbs), moving and setting up of computers and monitors
    • Some bending and reaching is required for this position 
    • Strong analytical & troubleshooting skills
    • Ideal candidates can take direction well; with the ability to work independently without supervision
